SUMMARY:What do senior leaders need from coaching now and how can we meet the need?
DESCRIPTION:Join us in dialogue with Ruth Simpson\, EMCC Global Master Coach\, 20+ years’ experience with senior leaders at board level\n\n\nThis is part of  EMCC Global s  GPS Dialogue Series of conversations leading on from the GPS – Global Provider Summit. It is aimed at Quality Award (EQA and ESQA) training providers\, ISMCP Award Holders and EMCC Organisational Members\, EMCC Global ‘Thought Leaders’ and organisations currently interested in accrediting their programme/s. \nThe dialogue takes place on Zoom\, and participants will be sent a link before the session. Expect to take part in a video-on\, microphone-on discussion as we seek to co-create the future for our professional practice. \nNOTE – an optional networking half-hour will take place after the end of this session\, to which you are warmly invited \n\n\nThe focus for this session will be what senior leaders need from coaching now and how we\, as coaches\, can best meet these needs.   \nThis interactive session\, led by Master Practitioner Ruth Simpson\, will be based around two breakout discussions.  \nThe first will explore what we are experiencing and noticing as we coach senior leaders at the moment. Specifically\, what are the coaching needs and how they are being addressed.  \nThe second breakout will explore what this calls for from coaches.  \nRuth’s hope is that as a result of the dialogue we will have challenged our current practice and explored ideas to develop moving forward.  \n \n\n \nThroughout the dialogue Ruth will draw on her experience as a coach\, consultant\, facilitator and researcher\, working with senior leaders and their teams over the last 25 years.\n \nRuth will build on the discussions started at the EMCC Global GPS – Global Provider Summit – in November 2020 as captured below: \n\n\n\nAbout Ruth Simpson\nRuth Simpson enables leaders and teams to respond and adapt to change. This is done through linking them to professional standards. It is an integral and essential step on the path to establishing the professional credibility and status of mentoring/coaching. \nEMCC has a dynamic framework for assessment based on extensive consultation and the most comprehensive competence research produced to date to inform mentoring/coaching and supervision professional standards and practice. The emphasis of the EMCC Global Accreditation process  is to raise standards while acknowledging and celebrating existing excellence\, prior learning and experience.  \nThe EMCC Global Supervision Individual Award (ESIA) is an internationally recognised accreditation that demonstrates that an individual practising as a professional mentor/coach supervisor has the appropriate level of knowledge and the ability to apply it effectively in his/her practice. \nThe EMCC Global Supervision Quality Award (ESQA) is an internationally recognised accreditation for mentoring/coaching supervision training programmes.
