Life Coach Mike Bayer To Guest: ‘You Have A Hard Time Setting Boundaries’
A woman accused of going on an interstate crime spree with her fiancé says she’s afraid she’s going to lose him. Life coach Mike Bayer tells her, “You know in your gut what’s right, and you have a hard time setting boundaries.”
Dr. Phil uses the power of television to tell compelling stories about real people.
The Dr. Phil show provides the most comprehensive forum on mental health issues in the history of television. For over a decade, Dr. McGraw has used the show's platform to make psychology accessible and understandable to the general public by addressing important personal and social issues. Using his top-rated show as a teaching tool, he takes aim at the critical issues of our time, including the "silent epidemics" of bullying, drug abuse, domestic violence, depression, child abuse, suicide and various forms of severe mental illness.
This poor girl seems so sweet but so lost.
She’s totally dissociated from her reality. She tries to keep up appearances but everybody sees right through it. Wake up, woman, before it’s too late.
octavia mckinney I think you meant “realistic”
octavia mckinney the truth hurts sometimes stop being such a special snowflake lol
This comment is cruel.
Yes 100% cptsd
He will probably throw her under the bus for a plea deal
right
He’s a great coach, I hope he really resonated with her.
She is looking at alot of jail time if she doesn’t get her head out of the clouds.
I relate to this young lady. Choices have high prices.
SOME* choices cost a lot. Other choices require self sacrifice and actually PAY-OFF after time. Work now or work later.
Same here. I got involved with a drug dealer when I was younger and it has horrific lasting emotional and legal consequences
She is a very sweet girl…and she probably says yes a lot more than she should…I hope she gets through all this MUCH stronger and not with that dude.
I have PTSD. Girl I would let you do my make up. I would help you sister!!
@Ebony Love don’t only practice when you feel down. That part of you is always with you. Let it be expressed. Let it come out of the dark to show itself to the light. Even the light is in the dark.
Jayson Muzuruk you are a kind person. Thank you. It was many years ago and I now only suffer badly from my ptsd for about 3 months of the year, around the anniversary of the event. During this time I practice a lot of mindfulness and meditation. I appreciate your understanding and your advice. And I appreciate you. God bless you
@Ebony Love trauma begins at a very young age. We all have similar traumas. Suchas, realizing our seperateness from our caregivers. They begin to stack. Trauma is an emotional response. E-MOTION. Energy in motion. Trauma responses are very simple, but can become extremely complex. Remember, PTSD, Cptsd, depression, anxiety. All symptoms. Our consciousness and our beings are much more intense and complicated than diagnosis’ to symptoms. It’s your response to threat at a primal level. Any perceived threat. Based on your circumstances. Can be alot of things. I’m sorry you experienced what you experienced. Find ways to breathe as you meditate, and find that woman/young girl who experienced the pain and stay with her. Breathe with her as you experience it again. You have the strength. You’re still here. I commend you for that. It takes great courage. You can watch The Therapist if you want to see how trauma is dealt with. There is not one person on this planet that doesn’t have traumatic experiences. All in varying degrees. From human being to human being, I love you. For being alive and being strong enough to not succumb to the powers put over you.
I’m no psychologist but when I was CLINICALLY DIAGNOSED with ptsd after being raped I was told by my psychiatrist that ptsd is caused by a traumatic NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE or an experience that you believed you may die. While yes I’ve been through many a hard nasty breakups that have caused deep depression and anxiety, no, something like that absolutely does not cause ptsd.
Ebony Love yes it can anything that causes traumatic stress for kids that could be anything don’t be so low
She’s a pretty girl she could probably get any guy she wants
Oh, sweetie I wish I could give you a hug for all that you have been through. The life coach is right though because you don’t have boundaries. And you don’t stand up for yourself when u need to. Lance saw you coming a mile away and he knew you were damaged. He played the part so he could use you. I have been there so many times and it’s because I never got help for ptsd, etc. I know you can’t see it now but when u are in a cell for 20 years u are going to realize where you went wrong. Please give your life to Jesus Christ before it’s too late. I know u have an amazing heart and just want to be safe and loved.
That damn giggling thing of hers is DEFINITELY not working for her. She needs speech therapy BADLY.
On top of the illegal drugs. Lance is her drug.
Awww shes so sweet but so naive, I hope she gets help and does better
She sooo cutee
Faded fr I’d give her line
Yeah her family never let her have boundaries and she probably doesn’t know how to set those or even if she deserves them
Her doodles are so cute tbh
She could be a tattoo artist or start doing comic books
ugh I just ate 3 huge bowls of tuna noodle casserole. i’m so full and can’t help but watch the dr philly when i eat.

She’s conditioned. I’m sorry she can’t say anything bad but she knows it is bad. Now I feel sorry for her.
