Age 43 I have been knowing what I wanted to do with my life but unfortunately cant afford it . Too expensive. So what I learned is without money you can’t do anything.

You can earn enough money just from working with the comfort of your home

I have a college degree in management and was a Sergeant in the Army yet my company continues to promote people that don’t have a lick of college or management experience. Mainly because they are buddies and my race is a issue. So I would rather change careers to be a pilot. At least that is where I want to be until I retire.

I worked in retail my entire 20’s just dreaming of a corporate job. My 30’s, I spent in corporate jobs working my way all the way to a six figure salary. Now I’m almost 40 and feeling lost because what I really enjoy doing doesn’t pay the bills. I’m stuck doing what I’m good at and not what I really want to do.

Too many people are living the “corporate zombie” life, having to check in their soul before they go to work. Too many times, we let the different fears in our life overcome us. Fears that are sometimes relevant, fear that are sometimes absurd. The key to being able to pivot is to be always prepared for the direction you want to pivot in. Find ways to gain experience even if it is not paid. Being career mobile is one of the best things you can do for yourself.

OK. You have decided what your ultimate goal is. Make sure it is a
definitely defined goal. “Someday I want to be famous” just won’t cut it.
Define exactly what you want to do. Define a reasonable time frame. Know
what you have to do to get there. You don’t need to know every little
detail, but you do have to have the big picture and many of the details.
If you have a goal in mind but don’t know what it takes to reach it, then
you need to find out. Do some reading, talk to people who know, ask
questions and LISTEN to the answers. Think that sounds like a lot of work?
Well, remember what you are preparing for – your success and happiness.
Surely you want to put a little effort into that! Anyway, a little
research into what it will take for you to reach your goals isn’t too
    difficult.

I just turned 50 a few months ago. I quit my job of 28 yrs went on onto another job which didn’t work out. I’m back to my old job per diem. Money is coming in but I have realized that I’m totally burnt out in the medical field. I’m at the advantage of being financially okay at the moment. But I’m clueless where to go from here……

When we reach that age, we get into that clock ticking mode that we are running out of time. There is an opportunity that has been proven to replace your life income if you are will to put your focus into it.
