@Julian Jandles let him live his life. You have to become the example first. Find a way to make money chase you and provide for your self without having to depend on a job and he’ll pay attention. Sons can’t give father’s advice. It’ll be inappropriate. Just be the example.

@Jason Lee congratulations Jason! King moves, I hope you continue knowing yourself self further. I have read think and grow rich 3 years ago and my life changed drastically, I enjoy meditating and THINKING and GROWING rich… my dad sees his job as the one security in his life as he’s been there for a majority of it and he’s in his early 50s, it’s a sales and professional role but because of ethnicity and ‘formal education’ ie. degree etc his perspective is the same. What advice would you give as a son to a father without wanting to overstep or intrude?

I appreciate this comment so much man. I recently lost my job – foolishly assumed my job was going to be safe. I have now been studying myself and what got me to this point in my life. I’m grateful I found this video.

I like how he doesn’t use jargon. Others like Tony Robbins use to much jargon and technical sounding explanations in an effort to dress up their message, and of course up sell you on a conference or seminar. By contrast, Jim Rohn speaks in a simple homespun style.

He says for those who are in America, are blessed because of all the resources available to us. Not sure what year this seminar was held but everything he speaks on still holds true today in 2019. In fact, we are even MORE BLESSED to live in era with youtube. The greatest minds in the world are now at your fingertips. We have no excuses to not become the best that we can be. ?

Those people paid money to take notes they heard one time. We are fortunate enough to listen to this over and over and over again until we understand and apply it all.

That’s a lot harder to do if you just have a note pad!
